Haul: Bourjois, CG, Bloom. + NOTW & FOT-other day.

*exhales after saying long title* :P Anyhoo, the other day I had a look in a chemist that I barely ever go into & I saw that they had a huge display of Bourjois! So of course I went over & swatched about 20 different products onto my hand baha. They also had some of the Covergirl Lip Perfection colours but not a very huge colour selection. & then lastly as I went up to the counter I looked in the bargain bin & they had some really nice polishes for $5!!

The bag was free when you spent $30+ on Bourjois.

Bourjois: Smokey Eyes in Rose Vintage. Blush- 16 Rose.

 Quick Thoughts:
I wish I had bought a different colour from the smokey eyes e/s because I found these are preeety similar to UD Virgin, Sin & Hustle (not exactly the same, but in the same group) &  I'm always looking for different colours. But for $28 I will be getting some use out of this, lol.
But as for the blush.. I looove it so stinking much! It actually smells like roses, I'm going to have to get a few more colours! There were heaps to choose from.

Covergirl Lip perfection in Kiss, Lash Blast Length

 So yah as I said there was only a small colour selection... & none of them really caught my eye except for Spellbound but I have so many pink L/S already so I stayed away from that one. & The Lash blast length was only $8.95 (instead of like $18 or what it usually is here) so I thought I would give it a go & so far I'm liking it.

Omggah Catherine is such a pretty, glittery colour, I put it on the next day after I got it, & I was so lucky to see it for $5! My nails also have been breaking lately so I got some hardener stuff.

So it was a pretty small haul, but everything came to $81 or something crazy like that!! Curse the price of cosmetics in Australia!! :P

why the awkward fingers!? lol So far it hasn't really chipped (except on my right hand, but that always chips first) but I'm also testing out a new top coat to see how that goes.

& Finally, onto the FOT-other day ah ha. Of course,I had to use everything I bought! Warning: Lots of pics coz I took to many & couldn't decide which ones to use!

Added a little bit of Satin Taupe in the crease for more dimension. Also angled my eyebrows a bit more- what do you think?? This may also be nice for a soft bridal look- excluding the heavy eyeliner & gold on the lower lash line.

So yeah, I used everything in the haul + black eyeliner, gold eyeliner for lower lashline.. No idea why I used it, really haha. & then Revlon grow luscious + CG lashblast length. But seriously, I hope you can see why I'm in love with the blushh its just so purty! I'm also loving the lipstick too!

Ughh also I just came down with tonsillitis yesterday but it has hit me really bad today. I have the makeup thing with my MIL on saturday so if I rest up tonight & tomorrow I should be feeling better!!! I hope!

Inglot Prize! + Pixiwoo Inspired Purple + Pink

So I actually received it last week, by 'It' I mean the Inglot prize from Amalia which consists of 3 concealers & 2 lipsticks in a palette. Yayy my first Inglot products! & if this is anything to go by, I can't wait until the day I buy some of their eyeshadows!

Amalia sent them to me with the palette empty & the products separately in plastic. When I first swatched them they felt extremely creamy, & maybe a bit melted (who knows, it came from the sunny U.S to winter in Aus so that may have affected it) but now I can tell they are just extremely creamy!! I have used them everyday since I've received them & they apply so smoothly & last all day!! (well not quite all day, I haven't tested them that far)
        & for the lipsticks... gorgeous colours! the 1st one is more cherry & the other one more blue-based. I haven't actually used the 2nd one yet which I must! Only bad thing is that I cannot take this palette in my bag with me for touchups :(.
        Oh I should probably describe the palette- Quite heavy & sturdy, & very magnetic. To get the lid off you need to push it from the corner. If I wanna pick up the products I just put the end of the lid near it & it picks them up.

Unfortunatly It had been a while since I had seen it so I had to go from the top of my head. Which still wasn't quite close. Ohwell. At least I remembered the main colours! Please don't go to the video & think hurr durr it is no where near the same. I like it being different anyway :)

Random Purple Gel eyeliner from Ebay as a base over TFSI
Pictured: Revlon Pink About It in the crease;
Designer Brands palette: The colours with the hearts... lightest being the highlight
A pink from the 120 palette lightly over the crease.
The same gel e/l to line the eyes
Black Bean in addition as e/l

Cheeks:
Fyrianne blush in Intriqued... I think this is the first time I have used it & I don't look like a clown! Its so hard to use a light hand with this stuff!! (Pictured.... on top of the Inglot lid) I should have gone with a more neutral cheek but I was drawn to it that day!

Lips

Dark Smoky Daytime Look

I suppose not everybody likes a lot of drama for in the day time... but if you want that without going too OTT I like to do a brown smokey eye. For this I used the (surprise, surprise) Naked palette. I taped the edges to get that sharp look to make it a little bit more dramatic.

 

Of course this post wouldn't be complete without a few closeups.

Eyes:
NYX JEP in slate on lid
UD Naked: Sin- Inner Lid.
Hustle- all over the rest of the lid.
Buck- Crease. Blended out with Naked.
Toasted added on top of buck. Lower Lashline
A little bit of Darkhorse in the outer corner.
Virgin to highlight
UD Whiskey E/L in waterline.
Black Bean for top E/L

Cheeks-
NYX peach blush

Lips-
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Tokyo (I applied lip balm just before but didn't blot it enough so its not quite matte)

Question: I haven't done a picture tutorial in a while, would anyone be interested for this look?? Even though y'all are totally more talented then me :)

Golden Eyes

Geez I need to get more creative with my titles haha. This was actually from last week, I took a break from the naked palette & went back to using NYX pearl pigments. This is just a simple look using Oro, Walnut & Nude.

 Since I couldn't take any decent full sized pics, why not take a million of different angles haha. Oh these were taken before my eyebrows & my face were done.

 On one eye I used Pixie Epoxy but honestly it makes it harder the blend the eyeshadow so I went without on the other eye & found that I didn't really need it with these pigments. Oh & I'm pretty sure I used UD Zero eyeliner.

L-R; Oro, Walnut, Nude

Well I may as well include another recent look. I just wanted a shimmery e/s on the lid (Kitten) with a hint of definition in the crease, & black winged eyeliner with gold on top of it.

Oh yuck this isn't such a nice pic after all..

Ignore my mouth being open in a weird way haha. Oh & my hair is soo poofy here =/

I actually used tape to get the shape of the wing, which I used Lancome Artliner for, & the gold is a coastal scents one (I actually got it from the MUG website, but I'm pretty sure they're all the same) .So I guess you could kinda say this is a double e/l look. Or not. IDK haha. Oh & lips are Rimmel Pink Flame, I think the lighting in my bathroom makes it look more red!


Oh & if she happens to be reading this, Amalia I received the Inglot prize :D Which I will include some pics in a later post once I find my camera cord!!!!
